• Printing Art work File TIPS:

Convert all black font to black (key)

Document size should be the finish size.

Do not compress single graphics or images
-
Place corner marks where the art work is to be trimmed

Indicate folds or perforations in the bleed area with a tick mark

Do not copy and paste. Import an illustration to your layout to create a link

Type your text in a word processing program and import it to publishing software
-
Single page orders: Front/ Back of document should be setup as two separate pages

Do not use image editing software as layout software. Place illustrations in a layout software

All text file should be converted to outline/ path with the outline/ stroke set to zero to
eliminate the need to send us fonts
We do not accept native files from:
• Corel Draw
• Macromedia Freehand
• Microsoft Word
Generally all design software will allow you to save-as or export as one of the accepted file
formats. Once the graphics are in a accepted file format, they are "finalized" and embedded,
this way any possibility of errors is reduced.
Please note: These Tips are by no means a definitive guide. It is only to turn customers
in a direction to prepare files for production. Because of the wide differences in equipment,
hardware and software versions, all details cannot be provided. We can not be held liable
for any mistakes that are a result of preparing files improperly.
